The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for various aspects of talent acquisition within the manufacturing and distribution operations of Nice-Pak. Primary Responsibilities include the implementation, coordination, administration and development of recruitment strategies, with a focus always on hiring the right talent, at the right time, and for the right roles to ensure a successful match of talent and job.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Work closely with the Hiring Managers to understand the requirements of open roles and create an effective recruitment strategy.
- Manage the full life cycle of the recruitment process including: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, evaluation and offer negotiation, maintaining relationships up to on-boarding of new hires
- Execute sourcing strategies focused on generating candidate flow to meet recruiting goals and metrics.
- Identify innovative and proactive recruitment strategies to attract and obtain high-quality passive and active candidates for pipelines.
- Develop partnerships with local schools and other branding channels to recruit local talent.
- Administer the internal job posting process and assist in the development of succession plans.
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating interviews for hourly and salaried positions.
- Partner with the training department to schedule onboarding of new hires and process on-boarding through HRIS.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication, an efficient interview process and timely interview feedback.
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications include the following levels of knowledge; skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required to perform the essential job responsibilities and duties competently.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Solid understanding of applicable federal and state laws.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· 5-7 years of human resource, recruiting and/or staffing experience preferably supporting a manufacturing, technical and/or distribution client base.
· Experience with UltiPro Recruitment ATS and social platforms used for recruitment, including LinkedIn and Indeed preferred.
