Nodal seeks talented and motivated applicants for the following role based in Tyson’s Corner, VA (DC Metro area): Director, Product Management - Clearing Services The Director, Product Management is responsible for continuously discovering, championing, monitoring, and refining products/services so we deliver solutions that clearing house partners and clearing members need and love. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of our industry, users, other stakeholders, and competitors. This is a cross-functional role that will work closely with delivery teams to balance the needs of the market with the various constraints of the business. This position will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.Key Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end product/service design, including user research, competitive research, interviews, conceptual planning for features and product ideas, design, prototyping, and wireframing
- Work with engineers and delivery managers to check for viability and feasibility
- Negotiate compromises or alternatives with delivery managers and engineers
- Work with the delivery managers through the product life cycle to provide the needed support to deliver
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategy
- Define outcome-based performance indicators that measure product/service effectiveness
- Monitor KPIs and develop feedback loops to retain, refactor, replace, or retire products/services as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experienced in modern product discovery and product delivery techniques and methods
- 5 years working on technology-powered products in commodity clearing
- Learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing
- Ability to solve problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
- Engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
