- Acts as a resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
- Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations based on those needs.
- Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the RN Coordinator of Patient Care Services will assist the nursing staff in ensuring compassionate, safe, quality care for patients and families while also managing and influencing clinical nursing practice, and the environment in which care is provided.
Job Description
The qualifications for this position include:
BSN Degree required
State Issued RN License required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Three (3) years of RN experience required
Will be trained to assist with phlebotomy draws and will be trained to be on the DIVA team (Difficult IV Access) – to assist in placing difficult IV access on patients
Shift/Hours: Full-Time/Nights, 40 hours weekly
Weekends scheduled as needed
