Press Operator Level 1- 2nd shift

Position Purpose:

Responsible for entry level press operations

Hourly Pay Range: $16.75 - $19.75

Essential Functions:

• Maintain Environmental, Health, & Safety standards in the workplace
• Operate Shave Press
• Form Press, and Resistance Welder
• Stack Coined Tables from Rovetta 1
• Operate Coin Press (Rovetta 2)
• Uses Go / No Go Gauges Rework parts
• Other duties as assigned

 

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Qualifications:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to use measuring equipment
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to work well with others

 Physical Demands:

• Must be able stand continuously for 8-12 hrs.
• Must be able to lift 5 lbs. minimum up to 25lbs
• Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
• Ability to work in tight places
• Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
• Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
• Environmental Conditions
• Ear, Eye and Foot protection is always required in production areas
• Exposure to a noisy work environment
• Exposure to hot and humid conditions
• Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
• Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are always required
