As a Senior Specialist Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, you will be instrumental in developing and managing Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects for the respective business unit. You will lead the preparation of company valuations, participate in contract negotiations, and ensure the proper organization of M&A projects. Your work will have a significant impact on the financial and operational success of BASF's business units.
As a Senior Specialist Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, you create chemistry by...
- Properly organizing M&A projects for the respective business unit.
- Preparing company valuations to determine financial purchase price calculations for decisions on M&A projects by the board or commission F. You will also work on valuation reports for book value checks as a commissioned matter
- Participating in contract negotiations and the BASF approval procedure.
- Presenting the operational and financial as well as the balance sheet effects of M&A projects, including EBIT development BU.
- Following up on acquisition projects and covering investment banks and chemical companies.
- Further developing M&A methods.
If you...
- Have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics.
- Possess professional experience in M&A projects (highly valued), company valuation, and profitability assessment.
- Have profound expertise in group accounting, taxes, commercial law, corporate law, and business administration.
- Are proficient in MS Excel.
- Possess negotiation, project management, communication, and consulting methods skills
