Job Summary:
The Senior Relationship Manager is an external sales role that serves and supports the Bank’s mission by acquiring and closing new business relationships while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develops and implements sales strategies to proactively attract, acquire and retain customers, to increase profitability and enable business growth
• Anticipates emerging customer trends as a basis for recommending products and services to optimize revenue opportunities to the Bank
• Identifies and responds to changes in the business environment by establishing action plans to address customer issues and priorities while proactively introducing solutions
• Manages the customer experience and transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including structure, pricing, internal approval, and compliance processes and documentation for a large and complex portfolio.
• Actively manages relationships within and across various business lines and ensures alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
• Develops community relationships and membership in civic and professional organizations, including active participation in networking events to increase brand exposure
Job Skills and Qualifications:
• Five (5) + years of Commercial Lending experience
• Demonstrate high level of expertise in sales, networking, negotiation, business acumen, relationship building and execution of responsibilities.
• General knowledge of banking and the Bank’s various commercial fee-based products.
• Considerable knowledge of banking credit principles and financial analysis.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the Bank.
