Senior Software Engineering Manager, Horizontal Compliance Platform and Tooling

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in designing and developing platforms.
• 5 years of experience in building or operating distributed systems.
• 3 years of experience in operationalizing horizontal requirements (e.g., reliability, compliance, security).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

• Drive the overall end-to-end experience for all personas within the broader launch platform and horizontal workflow area.
• Prioritize shift-left and shift-down approaches to make horizontal requirements a near-zero cost experience that requires minimal domain expertise and is part of the overall software development life-cycle as early as possible.
• Focus on extensibility and ecosystem, acknowledging that the platform will serve core user journeys while providing flexibility for extension and customization, with native workflow orchestration across the full ecosystem.
• Promote an AI first approach leveraging Generative AI capabilities to simplify and automate horizontal compliance execution.
• Build strong partnerships with leaders across the horizontal space and across the tooling ecosystem to ensure alignment, consistency, and streamlining of end user experiences.
