What You'll Do:

The Separately Managed Accounts Resource Team (SMART) Hub Analyst will be responsible for a diverse scope of responsibilities ranging from handling internal and external inquiries about SMA accounts, products, and services to researching and resolving problems with new accounts and trading, generating reports for clients and internal groups, partnering with AB sales staff to launch new products and onboarding new sponsors.  The best candidate for this position will possess outstanding communication and relationship management skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong time management skills.  The analyst will be expected to develop intermediate operational knowledge involving securities, trading, portfolio management, trade settlement/reconciliation, corporate actions and reporting.  

Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:

The SMART Hub Analyst will be responsible for providing service and support to AB SMA sponsors, advisors, AB Sales and various groups within the firm.  Some of the primary functions of this role will be to partner with the Strategic Relationship Group Managers’ and Associate Relationship Managers to manage client support and service functions.  The analyst will be tasked with managing projects that span across AB’s various business units including, product management, legal, operations, billing, and data management as well as act as the liaison between these business units.  Key applications used are MS Excel, MS Access, as well as a variety of web-based sponsor trading and trade support applications that we will be happy to train the right candidate on.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage client deliverables on both a repeating and ad hoc basis – sales, operations, vendor, etc.
  • Maintain client internal and external client relationships
  • Manage projects and business functions related to client onboarding
  • Develop and maintain sponsor/platform/product-specific information
  • Facilitate communication through working closely with Product, Business Development, Portfolio Management and Relationship Managers related to respective guidelines by sponsor

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have a Business or Finance degree, and financial experience is always a plus, but not required.  While the degree is preferred, it is not required for the right candidate bringing relevant work experience to our firm and the skills required for the position.

Skills:

The candidate should have strong communication and relationship management skills, they should be highly organized and have the proven ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.  They must also be very detail oriented and demonstrate proficiency in manipulating and generating Excel spreadsheets to generate data/reports.
