As an RN Resource Team Float you will be part of a team providing exceptional patient care at Banner Gateway Medical Center. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), patient transports, dispatch, and data analysis. Several employee groups report to this department, including clinical positions such as RN House Senior Managers, SWAT RNs, and Resource Team (RNs, NAs, PCAs, HUCs, and BHTs) plus non-clinical roles such as Office Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, Dispatchers, Placement Reps, and Information Specialists.

Opportunity to work 3x12--hour shifts, Day Shift (7:00AM-7:30PM) with weekend rotations. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. As an added bonus, Float Pool RN's also enjoy an additional $3/hour float incentive on top of base pay.

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center Located in Gilbert, Ariz. (the Phoenix Metro area) on the Banner Gateway Campus, the center provides world-class care for oncology patients - both inpatient and outpatient - and has also brought leading oncology programs to the Banner Gateway campus including designation as a Stem Cell Transplant Center of Excellence and comprehensive Head & Neck cancer care. Our capabilities include five linear accelerator vaults, a brachytherapy vault, an advanced diagnostic imaging suite with PET/CT scan, more than 70 infusion bays, a cryopreservation lab and much more. Our inpatient medical oncology unit also incorporates a program that utilizes the electronic surveillance partnership in caring for the patient, where remote nurses have the ability to interact with patients via two-way audio-video to assist the bedside nurse with patient care.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
