The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
The Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives partners with leaders across Claim business delivery, analytics and technology to drive holistic strategic planning efforts ensuring alignment and integration across Strategy & Planning and execution activities. This position is responsible oversight of strategy development including long term roadmap, project, technology transition plans, workforce implications and reporting.What Will You Do?
- Build and maintain strong relationship within Claim Business Delivery, Analytics and Technology leadership team.
- Accountable for developing and managing a master plan for the multi-year build of our new business, analytics & technology ecosystem and transition to achieve our multi year benefit commitments
- Partners with Business Delivery Office (BDO)/Strategy, Value Stream (VS) Leads, chapter leads, Portfolio Management and tech ops in the creation and management of the plan, ensures alignment, and the plan is actionable ie the right tech runway and readiness work is happening
- Partners with Strategic Practice Peers and finance to ensure alignment of plan to portfolio, financials, Multi-Year Plan (MYP) strategy, portfolio, plan and budget are aligned.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of the multi-year plan.
- Regularly report on progress, performance, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Build out management information reporting & planning function to inform departmental planning, strategic decision making and demonstrate organizational impact and value delivery.
- Develop strategic planning process and infrastructure business leadership, providing guidance and effective direction to ensure operating divisions are aligned to overall goals and vision.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 7 years of project management experience preferred.
- 2 years of experience managing others and/or project teams preferred.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing multi-year technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience working with advanced project-management methodologies and Agile principles.
- Experience in developing strong, trusted partnerships with senior executives and constituent partners.
- Ability to lead and inspire team members to achieve optimal results in a highly collaborative and matrixed organization.
- Systemic thinker with strategic planning expertise, readily sees patterns and connections in a complicated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to put strategic plans into action.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skillset.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding and appreciation for business, business intelligence/analytics, and technology components of program/portfolio management.

- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related experience or equivalent in education and work experience
