We have an exciting Senior Data Analyst opportunity in our Merriam, KS office. The Senior Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible hog farming operations. This position aims to ensure accurate and insightful analysis of production data in animal operations and RNG production, driving the economic viability of our initiatives and ensuring compliance with sustainability and environmental standards. The successful candidate will enable our organization to make data-driven decisions, enhance our environmental impact, and lead the way in innovative, sustainable farming practices. Additionally, the Senior Data Analyst will mentor a peer, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the data analytics team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure Data Accuracy: Take responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of production data.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze production data from various sources, ensuring its completeness and reliability.
• KPI Dissemination: Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production processes and metrics.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate existing production processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and streamlining.
• Financial Opportunity Identification: Analyze production data to identify potential financial opportunities across the company.
• Data Management: Develop and manage comprehensive data systems, leveraging data analytics to extract valuable insights for informed decision-making.
• Data Flow Improvement: Collaborate with IT and data management teams to enhance the overall data flow within the organization. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps in data collection and reporting processes and propose solutions to ensure a smooth and seamless data flow across systems and departments.
• Research and Development: Conduct in-depth analysis of trial results, including economics, production rates, with the intent to own a project for continuous process improvement.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate existing production processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and streamlining.
• Strategic Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights to inform production strategy and operational improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 2+ years of working with Tableau, PowerBI, or another visualization tool.
