The Infrastructure Account Team supports the annual multi-billion-dollar growth of Meta’s Infrastructure investment in data center construction globally. - Support business initiatives as the accounting POC for Data Center Equipment procurement and supply chain.
- Understand how systems work to drive improvements and automation. Be a team lead to implement IT solutions in the subject areas. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand upstream and downstream impacts and drive critical system projects.
- Manage the accounting for several data center construction projects from record to report including responsibility for month end close processes and SOX controls.
- Interpret and apply accounting standards to new and ongoing business initiatives in order to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare accounting memos and update accounting policies in the subject areas.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Infrastructure Business Partners to understand the broader business objectives, develop processes jointly and provide accounting guidance and best practice recommendations to enable process changes.
- Work closely with financial planning and other finance teams to ensure compliance with the U.S. GAAP and internal policies through effective communications and execution.
- Manage some of our key SOX controls as well as providing input for audits performed by business partners, internal auditors, and external auditors.
- 7+ years of experience in financial statements auditing, financial accounting, or a similar field.
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of accounting experience.
- Effective team player who is adept at working as part of a larger team located in different locations.
- Technical and operational Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience in optimizing or designing new and existing processes.
- Experience in system implementation to support fast growing business.
- Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion.
- Big 4 audit experience and CPA.
