Responsibilities:
You will partner closely with the Business, Technology and Data Stewards to influence and drive our Data Governance Framework implementation along with the enterprise cultural shift to being data driven. Success in this role requires cross company collaboration and an understanding of business challenges, governance, process, data structures and data architecture. You’ll focus on using data and information to drive change and improvements in data related operations to help enable the business.
Ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices and resolving anomalies
Develop and execute procedures and processes to certify data quality for business purposes
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, timeliness, validity, and completeness
Partner with business partners to understand their data needs and ensure data assets serve their intended purpose
Collaborate with the business on usage, privacy and access controls
Align business teams around the use of analytics & domain data
Partner with IT to implement data quality controls
Work with team members/business partners to deliver reliable and accurate results
Partner with privacy team to protect sensitive and personal data and document their usage
Facilitate, prepare materials and record meeting minutes
Research, identify, select, implement, and operate new automated workflow to replace the current process.
Recommend and implement process improvement throughout the process lifecycle
Educate internal customers in using our data catalog.
Support training and education of data governance processes and guidelines for the organization.
Requirements:
5+ years Data Governance and Data Operations execution and/or operationalization experience
Knowledge of data related industry regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
Experience with Data Quality and Data Profiling projects
Broad understanding of business areas and the overall enterprise use of data
Ability to lead concurrent initiatives and prioritize or call out if prioritization assistance is needed
Preferences:
Experience with Data Operations, Data Governance, Data Domains and Data Cataloging Tools is a plus
SQL experience is a plus
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
Pay Range:
