Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The location of this role will be San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, or New York.
We are looking for a driven, intellectually curious insights professional who brings strong analytical rigor, a hands‑on approach, and a passion for understanding customers - supporting insights initiatives while building depth across research methods and business context. You will be a full-stack insights builder and partner to the marketing teams who shape how LinkedIn shows up for our members and customers to grow their careers and business growth.
As a part of the newly created Market Insights & Marketing Strategy function, Market Insights team is the research and insights CoE that enables LinkedIn Marketing to make confident, audience-centric, data-driven decisions that drive growth and impact across marketing’s highest priorities. We create deep audience understanding, deliver well-synthesized and actionable insights from research and other data sources, utilize intelligent technology, and operate as a full-stack strategic partner to our LinkedIn Marketing organization.
Responsibilities
Drive Insight Projects
Drive well‑defined research and insight initiatives by managing project steps, coordinating with partners, and ensuring deliverables are completed with quality and timelinessSupport Strategic Alignment:
Contribute to framing key questions and gathering inputs that help senior team members align on marketing decisions rooted in data and insightsConduct Research:
Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform marketing strategy, brand development, and go-to-market planningSynthesize Findings:
Bring together data from primary research, behavioral insights, and market trends into clear summaries that highlight patterns, implications, and marketing-relevant takeawaysCommunicate Insights:
Create compelling presentations, dashboards, and summaries that help stakeholders quickly understand findings and next steps. Share insights in a way that supports decision-making across marketing partnersEnable Application of Insights:
Work closely with marketing teams to ensure insights are understood and used - tracking how recommendations translate into actions and supporting measurement conversations where appropriate
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, strategy, or related fields
BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Track record of influencing marketing strategy and product GTM through insights
Experience synthesizing diverse data sources into cohesive, actionable narratives
Preferred Qualifications
Communication and storytelling skills
Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, logical approach to problem-solving
Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Background in management consulting or boutique marketing/insights-based consulting firms

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $195,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
