Quality Control Laboratory Sr. Lead

Overview

The Quality Control Laboratory Sr. Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the quality control laboratory. This role involves leading  laboratory technicians, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. The Sr. Lead  will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory operations, including sample testing, data analysis, and report generation.
• Ensure the availability and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Manage laboratory inventory and supplies
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
• Significant experience in a quality control laboratory setting.
• Strong leadership  skills.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies and techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
