Position Overview:

This position is for a Security Specialist located in Aurora, CO. This position will be responsible for assisting the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and the ARKA Director of Security in ensuring Security protocols are followed to ensure the success of the Security posture at the Aurora, CO site.  You will be reporting to the FSO of the Stratagem Group and working closely with all levels of personnel throughout the enterprise. This position requires you to be on-site five days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the Mission Applications Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the Aurora, CO and King of Prussia, PA locations
• Provide Security on-boarding training to new employees and subcontractors
• Enforce visitor control of the Aurora, CO site
• Assist with implementation of approved security policies & procedures
• Assist in preparing reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in Industrial Security
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to:
  • Organize and prioritize tasks
  • Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Effectively implement Security solutions
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a collaborative approach internal and external to the team and business unit
  • Communicate with customers and management professionally and concisely
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. Government Security Clearance
• Experience in an Aerospace/Defense Industry
• Knowledge of customer guidance documentation including but not limited to:
• Security Executive Agency Directives 1-9
• Intelligence Community Directives 503, 704 and 705
• Experience with maintaining, and supporting Personnel Security (NBIS, DISS, etc.)
• Understanding of The Standard for National Industrial Security Systems UL 2050 and Physical Security

Pay Range: $65,000 - $90,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
