Who will you be joining?
The Prevention and Advisory Unit within Group Compliance is responsible for the overall policy framework for most compliance risks, as well as for providing advice and oversight to support the Allianz Group's prevention of compliance violations.
The Market Integrity Team within the Prevention & Advisory Unit is responsible for maintaining the Capital Markets Compliance framework for the Allianz Group and provides guidance to Allianz SE and its subsidiaries to facilitates adherence to the respective laws (e.g., EU Market Abuse Regulation). this includes also coordinating Important Shareholding Reporting (ISH) for Allianz Group's substantial holdings in stock exchange listed companies wordwide. The team is responsible for monitoring and filing of ISHreports in certain jurisdictions. This is done in close cooperation with Allianz Asset Management, AllianzGI and PIMCO.
The Market Integrity Team also works on ESG matters related to Compliance. This includes providing compliance input to the Sustainability Report as well as to other ESG driven reports and also designing processes to ensure adherence of new upcoming reporting requirements (i.e. CSRD).
The Market Integrity has also a crucial role in ensuring the independence of the statutory auditor and in the prevention of Conflicts of Interests. The Compliance Expert Market Integrity will be a part of this team.
How can you make an impact?
Key responsibilities of the Market Integrity Compliance Expert include:
- Defining, maintaining and updating the global policy framework defining the requirements and methodologies for Capital Markets Compliance
- Supporting and liaising with other central functions of Allianz SE as well as to Allianz OEs
- Providing guidance to OE/Regional/Global Line compliance functions to ensure Groupwide execution of Market Integrity related compliance tasks
- Working in global projects together with counterparts from OE/Regional/Global Line to further improve Allianz's Market Integrity framework
- Monitor globally legal changes with regards to Market Integrity related topics, assess impact for Allianz and amend compliance programs and processes if required.
- Advise Allianz SE management and employees on Market Integrity related questions
- Settingup and maintaining of Insider Lists and Information Barrier Lists
- Daily monitoring of Allianz Group's holdings in stockexchange listed companies to determine potential notification requirements
- Preparation and filing of ISH notification to relevant regulators and companies worldwide
- Respond to queries from regulators with regards to filed notifications
- Drafting internal and external communications
- Developing training materials, identifying areas where training is necessary, conducting the trainings
- Identifying areas for improvement and providing guidance to implement good practices and help further development of Compliance Program
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 4 years relevant job experience
- Indepth subjectmatter knowledge of Capital Markets Compliance topics relevant for stock exchange listed companies and asset management companies
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, solution driven, confident, organized and detail oriented
- Organized and structured, determined and results oriented
- Ability to identify and implement practical solutions to complex problems
- Strong communication skills and drafting experience
- Experience in working in global projects
- Good understanding of equities and related financial instruments
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced academic degree in Business or Law
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in a second language (e.g., French, German or Spanish)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
