SUPERVISOR:
Manager or designee. 

SUMMARY:  
Responsible for all areas of grounds maintenance, irrigation and grounds personnel in specified parts of the District.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operates and maintains equipment and personnel. Adheres to all safety rules and regulations. Completes all phases of irrigation maintenance and repair at assigned sites. [Daily, 55%]
• Available for on call irrigation and snow removal as assigned. [Monthly, 5%]
• Performs all phases of landscape maintenance and repair at assigned sites, including assisting with fertilization. [Quarterly, 10%]
• Repairs and installs fences, both wood and chain link. [Quarterly, 5%]
• Assists in parking lot and field striping. [Quarterly, 5%]
• Lays out and installs irrigation systems in a new or reconstructed site. [Quarterly, 5%]
• Assists in tree and shrub pruning annually. [Annually, 10%]
• Performs other duties as assigned. [Daily, 5%] 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year experience in commercial grounds or irrigation experience.
• Must have phone for emergency contact.
• Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

• Valid Colorado Driver's License.

• N/A

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

• Extreme heavy physical lifting - over fifty (50) lbs. Items will be of various shapes and sizes.
• Overhead lifting and squatting required on daily projects.
• Repetitive motion (i.e., digging, bending, kneeling, etc.).
