ARSIEM is looking for a part-time Information Systems Security Engineer, 20 hours per week. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

ARSIEM is looking for a part-time Information Systems Security Engineer, 20 hours per week. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with internal and external customers to complete required government paperwork and processes related to information system security.
- Assist the government customer with answering information system security-related questions and perform regular audits of information systems.
- Understand STE/STN requirements and have experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 to include the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have experience with Defense-In-Depth principles, networks and enterprise security architecture.
- Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories.
- Experience with general Windows office software (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel).
