Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC), Surface Radars & Sensors Center department is seeking a Senior Mission Integration Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in verifying RADAR data against stringent requirements to enable advanced system capabilities in state-of-the-art, cutting-edge sensors. In this position, you'll contribute to key mission areas or variants within the SPY-6 RADAR system, offering an exciting opportunity for growth in both technical expertise and program development.
What You Will Do
- Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
- Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
- Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
- Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
- Support Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
- Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 30%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
- This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Tewksbury, MA
What You Will Learn
- Develop expert knowledge of the Naval Radars software and hardware mission areas
- Opportunity to be responsible for making significant improvements to processes and Naval Radar products.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with radar data for Navy radar systems and/or developing analysis tools.
- Experience with system integration (e.g. AAW, BMD, Power, etc.).
- Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB and/or other programming languages.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
- Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
- Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
