Minimum salary for this role is $74,800 based on qualifications and your experience.

What You Will Do:

• Operating Cost Budget: Coordinate and enter Region operating cost budget. Assist cost center Directors, Mangers, and Supervisors in monitoring costs related to operating cost budget, report variance, and exceptions to Management. Provide regular forecast changes to accounting and resolve any coding or other classification problems with accounting. Coordinate annual budgeting cycle ensuring zero base budgets are built by HCC and ACC operating project for directors/managers. Assist in final budget review for consistencies across departments.

• Capital Budget: Coordinate and assist in preparing budget submissions for the Region. Prepare regular(monthly) capital budget status reports after consultation with project managers and clerks. Assist Project Managers with Oracle Cloud PM POET string for tasks/expenditure type/expenditure organization (tracking).

• Perform data analytics for data sources, run effective analysis, and quality check as required.

• Liaison Function: Provide assistance and interfacing within the region and between region operations with multiple support service groups such as ROW, Safety, SCM, Projects, Finance, HR, Governance teams, etc.

• Reimbursable initiative project: Any agreements in place for region, projects will be set up to track expenses and per agreement billing section work with Oil Accounting Ad hoc invoicing to third party.

• Emergency Response: Lead the Finance support as a Chief or Deputy in the event of a response. This may include some travel within the region. Provide direction with IC Finance forms and accounting software and follow-up work.

• Assist Operations and Project Managers, Supervisors, Planners with the preparation of Work Orders/Requisitions, contracts, and other instruments.

• Special Project Assignments: Participate in task force teams, SME for testing new enhancements in Oracle, Investigation teams, etc.

• Company Fleet: Manage fleet vehicle database. Coordinate licensing, sale and purchase of vehicles and work equipment and provide repair and maintenance direction when needed. Monitor status of leased units and related costs.

Who You Are:

You have the following education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• At least 4 years financial and accounting experience.

• Proficient in Oracle, Oracle PM, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.

• Personal interaction skills to work with many Project Managers, support departments and employees.

• Must interact well with others.

• Cost Accounting background beneficial.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment. Field audits and inventories. Some travel expected within the region to assist with training of new employees, supervisors or to assist cost center directors with budgeting or tracking.
