Clinician Supervisor - Inpatient Psychiatry

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leads and directs the outpatient treatment programs within the Psychiatry Healthcare Service (ie ATP, Day One, Comprehensive Pain, Seneca, etc), ensuring high-quality evidence- based treatment for individuals with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders. Provides direct supervision of all clinical and administrative staff ensuring treatment is appropriate, sufficient, and effective. Assures program regulatory compliance including clinical documentation excellence. Manages the operation of the program so that triage, scheduling, patient support and revenue management are well organized and contribute to strong patient satisfaction. Develop appropriate liaisons with other programs within the Psychiatry Service and the UVMHN Medical Group, as well as governmental and regulatory agencies. Maintains an active clinical caseload including intake screenings, treatment, consultations, and group activity.
EDUCATION:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field. Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Vermont.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five years work in supervised mental health treatment program along with relevant leadership experience.
