Proposal Manager - Physical Security

We are seeking an experienced Federal Proposal Manager specializing in physical security to lead and manage the proposal process for federal government contracts. This role will focus on proposals related to physical security solutions, including access control, surveillance, and threat detection. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with federal proposal processes, strong project management skills, and a solid understanding of physical security requirements for federal projects.Responsibilities:Proposal Development and Management:Lead the proposal development process from kickoff to submission, ensuring adherence to RFP requirements and federal regulations.Collaborate with internal teams, including security engineers, compliance, and project managers, to gather technical and operational information for proposals.Develop proposal schedules, outline responsibilities, and maintain adherence to deadlines.Content Creation and Customization:Write, edit, and customize proposal content, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with the federal agency’s goals and requirements.Tailor technical solutions for physical security projects, incorporating specifics on access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and other relevant security technologies.Ensure all proposal documents meet federal standards, guidelines, and formatting requirements.Proposal Compliance and Review:Conduct thorough compliance checks to confirm all proposal content meets RFP specifications and government procurement regulations.Lead proposal review meetings, including color team reviews, to gather feedback and ensure a high-quality submission.Address questions, requirements, and compliance issues, collaborating with legal and compliance teams as needed.Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:Act as the primary point of contact for proposal-related communications between internal teams, partners, and subcontractors.Facilitate smooth collaboration across departments, ensuring all contributors understand proposal requirements and deadlines.Maintain strong working relationships with federal agency representatives and contracting officers.Process Improvement and Proposal Management:Continuously evaluate proposal development processes, identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.Maintain a proposal library with templates, past submissions, and relevant federal contracting information.Track and analyze win rates, trends, and feedback to refine proposal strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Security Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in federal proposal management, with specific expertise in physical security.Comprehensive knowledge of federal acquisition processes, regulations (FAR/DFAR), and compliance requirements.Proficiency with proposal management tools and software (e.g., Deltek, GovWin) and familiarity with physical security technologies.
