Your Key Responsibilities

Temporary assignment in the Schaeffler Industrial Engineering Department, designed to learn the lean tools and further promote the lean culture. Responsible for implementing lean throughout the operations organization. The goal of the position is to make small improvements and eventually run basic workshops to improve key process indicators and support production goals in a manufacturing setting.

  • Support production training and qualification initiatives
  • Identify wastes, problem solve, and implement actions to reduce/eliminate the wastes
  • Organize/facilitate basic production workshops (5S, SMED, TPM)
  • Workshop documentation and paperwork
  • Develop digital tools to help promote transparency and continuous improvement
  • Generating reports and insights for engineers (Power BI)

Your Qualifications

  • Current student working towards an Engineering degree.
  • Able to work a minimum 20 hours per week.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI
  • Good teamwork.
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Goal and results oriented
