THE JOB:
As the Executive Chef for Lago, you will oversee all kitchen operations, providing leadership to the culinary team, including Sous and Assistant Chefs. Also, you will be responsible for meeting operational and financial goals, managing inventory and cost controls, scheduling, and ensuring compliance. Overall, you'll collaborate with the property's F&B leadership and ensure smooth operations across the kitchen which will lead to high-quality guest experiences.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage daily kitchen operations, labor productivity, inventory, and cost controls.
• Represent the restaurant at any mandatory F&B meetings.
• Execute and develop innovative menu strategies for profitability.
• Maintain top-tier sanitation, health standards, and compliance training.
• Collaborate with the property's F&B culinary and the restaurant's front-of-house leadership and service team to achieve seamless product delivery to each table.
• Lead and develop a diverse culinary team, driving performance and growth.
• Manage HR functions for the culinary team (to include hiring, training, coaching).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least two (2) years of prior relevant experience.
