Capital Project Manager - Lake Charles, LA

Burrow Global is hiring!   We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager for a chemical manufacturer in Lake Charles, LA.   In this role, you'll spearhead the design and execution of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring the seamless progression of our work portfolio to meet stakeholder demands promptly.  Candidates will provide essential data for precise project cost, schedule and scope development.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of multiple on-site projects valued up to $10 million, guiding them from conceptualization through to completion.
• Lead cross-functional teams through scope development and design phases, ensuring thoroughness and minimizing disruptions from changes.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, actively seeking opportunities to enhance project value through Value Improving Practices.
• Develop and execute strategies for project implementation and contracting to effectively achieve project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements throughout project lifecycles.
• Facilitate the Change Management Process and uphold safety protocols throughout project duration.
• Ensure projects comply with company and industry standards, as well as HSE and PSM regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing projects in PSM regulated petrochemical or refining industries.

Technical Skills:

• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse personnel and stakeholders across various levels.
• Proficiency in stage gate project development and execution processes.
• Familiarity with project management principles, including cost, schedule, and risk management.
• Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software and Icarus estimating software preferred.
• Experience with SAP system or similar enterprise accounting software.
