Journeyman/Tradesman Residential Service Plumber

Description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Journeyman Residential Service Plumber to service our residential clients.

We perform service/repair work for residential clients. 

• Diagnose plumbing problems and perform repairs.
• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures.
• Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs.
• Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper function.
• Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes.
• Installation: Laying pipes, setting toilets, installing faucets, and hooking up appliances 
• Maintenance: Replacing worn washers and gaskets 
• Repair: Fixing plumbing systems, including bathtubs, disposals, faucets, gas lines, shower valves, sinks, and water heaters 
• Inspection: Performing routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems 
• Troubleshooting: Identifying the source of a problem and recommending the best course of action 
• Customer service: Communicating clearly with clients, managing their expectations, and teaching customers preventative maintenance 

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Completion of a vocational school certificate program, associate degree, or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid state plumbing license.
• Tradesman and/or Journeyman Plumber License a MUST.
• Able to read technical designs and blueprints.
• Proficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment.
• Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems.
• Available to work on call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies
