<h2><b>What you'll do</b></h2>
<p><span>You will be part of our Finished Vehicles Logistics Team within the Indirect Procurement organization, covering the procurement of finished vehicle transportation by Road, Rail & Ocean. You will join an experienced and diverse team and within transforming and challenging procurement area. You will together with our stakeholders drive the logistic transformation of our company by supplying the right logistics services and in this way shape the future and contribute to a personal, greener, and safer mobility. </span></p>
<p><span>We have a global organization with procurement team members in Gothenburg as well as in US and China. While looking for the right external solutions we collaborate tightly with internal stakeholders, such as complete Supply Chain and Commercial team, which require a high degree of collaborative skills but also provide wide networking opportunities. </span></p>
<p><span>Your main focus will be EMEA regional distribution covering rail and road transportation, and your scope of responsibility will be: </span></p>
<p><span>Collaborate with our Procurement teams worldwide, including in Shanghai and the USA <br/>
Lead and support cross-functional global sourcing projects within the category including preparation, execution, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and contract management <br/>
Develop and implement category and supplier strategies <br/>
Create and maintain commercial relations with suppliers and stakeholders <br/>
Work proactively with key business stakeholders to understand your product/service, its market, supply base and potential innovation to find ways to increase value for Volvo Cars - including cost, quality, and sustainability. <br/>
Requires ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding capacity to make data driven decisions or recommendation. <br/>
Dare to challenge status quo and work proactively to build better understanding and work towards ultimate solutions. <br/>
Engagement in some global business travels. </span><br/>

<h2><b>What you'll bring</b></h2>
<p><span>We are looking for passionate and dedicated procurement professionals with solid experience who can take on the complete cycle of purchasing activities, such as lead sourcing initiatives and manage commercial relationships with our suppliers, as well as ensuring strategic approach.</span></p>
<p><span>The right candidate has ideally a background within procurement or related supply chain services and also experience within project management and successfully driving complex sourcing projects. </span></p>
<p><span>A decisive, ambitious mindset, thriving in uncertainty and transformation. <br/>
Strong collaboration skills, enhancing both customer and internal experiences. <br/>
Confidence in leading procurement, building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. <br/>
Fluent in English, comfortable in global settings, and experienced in working with international suppliers. <br/>
Expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics procurement, with proven skills in fact-based negotiations and supplier management. <br/>
Project management, strong analytical and organizational expertise. <br/>
A university degree (or equivalent experience) and automotive industry experience is a plus. </span></p>
