Procurement Systems Lead

At DP World we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Systems Lead, who initiates, implements and manages all procurement related systems we have in place. The Procurement system lead is acting as a super-user for the different systems. You identify gaps and propose solutions, manage seamless stakeholder engagement, listening actively, simplifying and supporting the system user. About the role

How you will contribute

• Define systems and processes in collaboration with business users, creating process documentation.
• Work with relevant Business Owners, and BU representatives taking business requirements and translating the into functional system specifications.
• Work directly with the transformation configuration and development team.
• Facilitate and support the making of Design Decisions. 
• Leading implementation projects of new Procurement systems throughout the organization. 
• Solving Complex cases that require an expert knowledge of the Procurement systems and its challenges.
• Provide guidance & education on questions, issues or changes on system matters.
• Actively training and education support to users as opposed to just making sure rules are respected.
• Subject matter expert on the width of the procurement systems and processes, ensuring they are compliant and support process delivery standards.
• Respond to complex queries and manage solutions.
• Work pro-actively to support and deliver excellent internal customer experience.
• Identifying areas of improvement and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience as a process owner in an international organization.
• Expert Knowledge on the P2P process; Expert knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Monday and additional Procurement systems and tools.
• Advocate Change and innovation Management.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills: the ability to listen actively, ask probing questions and analyse requirements.
• Senior team member with the ability to prioritize business requirements appropriately and to work and think collaboratively in a cross-functional international environment.
• Experience of working on projects and managing project workstreams, handle short deadlines with extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to influence and sell ideas to internal stakeholders, Able to translate requirements from Business to IT.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in the English language on a business level and preferably an additional language e.g. Dutch or German.

Ability to travel 25% within Europe.
