About the role

Summary of Responsibilities:

Join a team that powers communities and energizes careers! ATC is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our transmission line and substation projects. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to shadow experienced ATC engineers and contribute to real-world utility projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in project site walkdowns and construction drawing/package reviews
  • Assist with data collection and database maintenance
  • Gather project data for kickoff meetings and walkdowns
  • Obtain information for engineering consultants at project initiation
  • Capture photographs and field data during walkdowns
  • Review construction packages for completeness
  • Support engineers with project closeout activities
  • Maintain and update the soil boring database and verify OSD activities
  • Shadow ATC engineers during meetings, walkdowns, and drawing reviews

What You’ll Bring

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
  • Preference for Civil or Electrical Engineering majors
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Interest in utility infrastructure and project execution
