Security Specialist II

As a Security Specialist II, you will support SNC's risk-focused security program in the protection of company and customer information, people, and assets. You will facilitate business and mission success through security customer service and efficient administrative security processes. You will handle classified and sensitive material, assist in the development and implementation of security compliance requirements, support security awareness education and training, and participate in security compliance assessments.

As a Security Specialist II, you will support all facets of SNC's Security Program to include personnel security, document control, DD254 review and preparation, visitor access and control, physical security, and supporting security investigations. You will also have the opportunity to expand your security knowledge across a wide range of security disciplines and participate in internal security working groups and special project initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in security, military, or administrative fields

• Strong verbal and electronic communication skills

• Self-motivated and willing to learn

• Strong attention to detail

• An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Familiarity with security regulations and best practices

• Knowledge of 32 CFR 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)

• Experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software

• Military or Defense Contractor experience

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $34.90 - $47.99. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
