In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, infusion therapy and documentation to patients in the Community Oncology Practice. Major functions include: patient assessment, patient evaluation and preparation and administration of chemotherapeutic agents and other intravenous drugs, patient education and psychosocial support.
Salary range: $70.59/hr - $106.80/hr

Required:
- Knowledge of the Oncology patient population and practice operations
- Knowledge of all aspects of infusion therapy in an oncology setting
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through for multiple patient treatments on an ongoing basis.
- Excellent blood withdrawal and IV skills
- Possession of a BSN degree
- Possession of current California RN license
- Possession of BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Possession of ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification
- Knowledge and skill in Central line Catheters
- Minimum of two years of acute care/oncology outpatient experience
- Experience to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
- Knowledge to recognize abnormal laboratory values and report to Physicians.
- Skill in usage of medical diagnostic equipment, as well as working knowledge of instruments and supplies required to perform necessary blood tests and provide infusion therapy.
- Ability to accept direction from leadership and act promptly
