Fosters student success by defining and implementing proactive strategies that help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals. Advises students on University policy and procedures, program and degree requirements, and related academic matters. Assists in coordination and execution of student orientation. Coordinates orientation advising activities, redesigns activities and materials, manages logistics, assigns tasks to colleagues. Coordinates with other units and central orientation for planning and delivery. Teaches student survey course; updates course materials and recommends and helps implement course improvements. Recommends strategic course adjustments and trains other advisors on how to teach course. Mentors new advisors and provides leadership in advising community. 

Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $50,000.00 - $55,000.00. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
