We are offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for a limited time, for this position.
White Oak Manor York is looking for a compassionate, energetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). Our ADON is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in assessing resident care needs and implementing appropriate action. Our ADON is also responsible for planning, organizing and assisting in directing the overall operation of our nursing department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility, and may be directed by the Director of Nursing and Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Evaluate and supervise the day-to-day functions of the nursing staff.
- Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards, supervise nursing care provided to residents, and assure adequate staffing to provide nursing care.
- Complete and maintain medical forms, reports, evaluations, charts, etc and submit to appropriate offices and departments for processing.
- Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
- Assure that all nursing service personnel are performing their respective duties in accordance with written policies, procedures and manuals.
- Participate in surveys and inspections by government agencies as necessary.
- Make reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing and Administrator concerning operations of the department.
- Participate in the orientation of new residents and family members.
- Make daily resident rounds and report status of nursing care to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
- Assist with analysis of incident and accident investigation reports to determine cause(s) and implement corrective action(s) when appropriate.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and conferences.
- Establish open lines of communication between all nursing personnel and consistently take follow-up action as necessary.
- Consistently work cooperatively with residents, resident representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary service providers.
