Job Summary:
We are a dynamic and patient-centered oral surgery and ENT combined practice with clinics
across the greater Los Angeles area. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care and
ensuring a comfortable experience for every patient. We specialize in a range of surgical
procedures and are seeking a skilled and compassionate RDA to join our growing team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oral Surgeon Assistance: Assist the oral surgeon during surgical and sedation procedures.
- Patient Care and Communication: Start IVs and support patients during recovery, providing clear post-operative instructions to patients and families.
- Prepare and Maintain Equipment: Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Accurately enter patient information, treatment details, and progress notes into the practice management system. Ensure patient files are well-organized and up to date to ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
- Sterilization and Infection Control: Adhere to strict sterilization procedures and infection control protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are reflective of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.
Required
- Active RDA or CDA license in California.
- BLS and DAANCE certification.
- Proficiency in starting and removing IVs.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in oral surgery or sedation dentistry preferred.
- Must travel between Beverly Hills, downtown Los Angeles, and Pasadena locations as needed.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required
to:
- Stand for long periods at a time.
- Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, daily.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs. periodically.
- Travel to clinic locations
