Position Overview

CRH Europe is currently recruiting for the position of Executive Assistant to our CFO. This role is based in the Dublin office in Ireland.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing executive support to the CFO including diary management, travel scheduling (including flights, accommodation, car hire, visa applications) etc.
  • Managing the set-up of on-site or off-site meetings including responsibility for logistics such as venue/room hire, accommodation, meals, transportation etc.
  • Co-operation and engagement with Europe EA-team to provide hands on support for various Europe wide and Europe Leadership team events.
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with all other EA's globally.
  • Managing processing of invoices and expenses from an administrative perspective in our internal systems.

 

Key Characteristics

For this role you should be/have:

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to deal well with people at all levels within the organisation.
  • Self-motivated, possess outstanding organisational and time management skills, and be able to work on own initiative and work remotely.
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A team-player, showing enthusiasm with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on all aspects of the role at all times.

 

Experience/Education

You are/have:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior EA role.
  • Previous experience within a large complex organisation working for senior leadership essential.
  • Global travel arrangements experience essential.
  • Experience of supporting large organisation meetings and events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an aptitude to learn new software.
