The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wetzlar site in the Abbott Vascular – Abbott Medical GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology
In this role you will take ownership of key FP&A processes for DACH, providing advanced financial analysis and partnering with stakeholders to drive business decisions. You will also act as a subject matter expert for reporting tools and process improvements.
Your Tasks:
Preparing and analyzing financial reports on Profit & Loss and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all DACH countries.
Serving as a strategic finance partner to key stakeholders—including Division Managers, Sales, and Marketing—by supporting business cases, analyzing monthly trends, leading LBE planning sessions, and setting sales targets.
Acting as a subject matter expert for reporting tools and processes, leveraging Essbase, Excel, and Power BI, while driving greater adoption of Power BI and introducing AI solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance reporting efficiency and automation.
Supporting the FP&A Manager and EMEA HQ team in consolidating and reviewing deliverables for LBE
