Job Summary

As a Supplier Management and Offnet Sourcing Intern, you will receive technical training revolving around sourcing of communications infrastructure, Request for Proposal (RFP) management and Performance Management of suppliers.
Successful completion of internship will set you up as a potential candidate for future opportunities at Telstra upon graduation.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• You will learn and help to improve the way Telstra manages the performance reviews of its strategic suppliers and support the offset quoting team in providing RFPs and individual quotes to our supplier panel.
• You will be part of the team identifying areas for process improvement and supporting the wider team in standardizing documentation and reporting

Experience and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree or higher program, in the listed preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Engineering, Business
• Expected Graduation Date between Fall 2024 – Fall 2025
• Familiarity with Telecommunications Networking Principles and, a basic understanding of the communications infrastructure industry and Sourcing.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate highly technical concepts across a wide audience.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Skills and Reasoning Ability

• Keen to learn with a strong desire to build a career in a related field
• Strong drive, self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic approach 

Language Requirements

• Written and oral Fluency in English required
• Multi-lingual capabilities a plus

Salary Range:

$25/hour + $100/month mass transit commuter subsidy.
