Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice on, and guide team members in, managing the administration, strategic planning, and operations of an assigned portfolio. In this role, you will monitor the end-to-end execution of business processes using enterprise systems, as well as provide continuous feedback for effective tracking and reporting.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The MF Risk - Asset Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of Multifamily REO Assets, maximizing property operations and sales
  • Support a portfolio's vision and strategic objectives.
  • Work with REO Analysts  to enact changes, along with reporting portfolio performance to key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate risk of current assets, while complying with governance and controls.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 4 years

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Previous work in Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions, Underwriting, or Asset Management, with an emphasis on multifamily properties
  • Fully knowledgeable with Hold vs. Sell financial analysis.
  • Experience with property operating budget analysis, including Capital Expenditure tracking.
  • Previous experience engaging property management companies, sale brokers, and other third-party companies

Skills

  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions.
  • Experience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments to determine viability, stability, and performance.
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
  • Relationship Management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
  • Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
  • Skilled in Excel and other Microsoft office tools including PowerPoint, and Word.
