Piping Designer (Junior / Mid / Senior)

Position Summary:
Burrow Global, LLC is seeking Junior, Mid, and Senior Piping Designers to join the Beaumont, TX office. Piping Designers will be responsible for developing detailed piping system designs and drawings for EPC projects, specifically in the Oil, Gas, and Chemical industries. Designers will ensure that all piping systems are designed to meet client specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Develop detailed piping design and layout drawings for industrial projects.
• Create and modify piping system diagrams, including isometrics, layout drawings, and equipment connections.
• Work with engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Use piping design software (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, etc.) to create and update piping layouts.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with industry codes (ASME, ANSI, API) and client specifications.
• Perform site visits to gather field data and ensure piping systems are installed according to design.
• Assist in the preparation of procurement and construction documents related to piping systems.
• Review vendor submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to address design issues and ensure timely completion.

Education and Qualifications:

Junior Designer:

• Associate’s degree or certification in Piping Design or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in piping design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Plant 3D software.
• Basic understanding of piping codes and standards.

Mid-Level Designer:

• Associate’s degree or certification in Piping Design or related field.
• 3-7 years of piping design experience, including in EPC projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or Plant 3D software.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems and industry standards.

Senior Designer:

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Piping Design or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in piping design, with significant EPC project involvement.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and other piping design software.
• Strong knowledge of piping codes, standards, and design best practices.

Skills and Competencies:

• High proficiency in drafting and piping design.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
