Position Summary
This position will lead production to achieve targeted results and follows the precepts of the Plymouth Business System; EnsuresLead Operators and Operators are trained and adhere to Company policy and procedures. Provides leadership for problemresolution to facilitate faster improvements.
Essential Responsibilities
1.
Champion safety initiatives on the shop floor.
2.
Provide expectations, accountability, and direction to the production team.
3.
Understand production processes and material flow throughout the production cycle.
4.
Act as a “Customer Champion” and is accountable to customer requirements.
5.
Take an active role in understanding the P&L of the company and departmental budget and leads cost savinginitiatives.
6.
Lead the “Managing Daily Improvement” process on the shop floor to drive specific productivity improvements, ensureday to day performance, on time delivery and continuous improvement.
7.
Comply with Plymouth Business Systems requirements to ensure that production is meeting the internal and externalsystems.
8.
Responsible for production personnel training.
9.
Execute Plymouth Tube policies, procedures, work instructions and manufacturing processes.
10.
Develop Lead Operators, drive business objectives, develop talent in the production team, and identify direct reporttraining needs.
11.
Responsible for ensuring the production floor is kept neat and orderly.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years manufacturing experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will beconsidered. Past Leadership experience and Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred. Knowledge of micrometers,calipers and other measuring devices.
