SALARY: $100,000 - $118,750, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:  

The Sales Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Commercial Directors and Managers, Key Account Managers, and other regional leadership by delivering insightful sales reporting, analysis, and strategic recommendations. This position fosters a culture of data-driven decision-making, optimizing sales performance through collaboration, training, and effective use of analytical tools. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Provide routine sales reporting and ad hoc support, conducting thorough analyses of sales, market share, and distribution to identify root causes of performance gaps.
  • Track and update performance against KPIs and other key initiatives and support the broader Sales Intelligence team with monthly and annual reporting requirements.

Performance Review & Recommendations

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly sales performance review materials, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales performance for Commercial and Retail teams.

Presentation Development

  • Create and update sales presentations for communication meetings, retailer visits, and planning sessions, ensuring clarity and impact in messaging.

Training & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Conduct training sessions for regional teams on utilizing analytical tools to monitor performance and understand competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to capture relevant insights during the business cycle.

Incentives Evaluation & Optimization

  • Evaluate brand and package sales incentives, suggesting modifications to enhance profitability and drive continuous improvement.

KPI Development & Execution

  • Contribute to the development and management of execution KPIs for commercial and retail teams.
  • Actively participate in key operating rhythm tasks, including Sales Performance Review (SPR), and facilitate ongoing tracking of internal incentives.

Strategic Insights & Recommendations

  • Identify key opportunities to drive sales through data analytics, providing recommendations for optimizing shelf placements and package strategies during chain resets.

Ad Hoc Support

  • Address daily ad hoc performance-related requests from leadership and field teams, ensuring timely and impactful insights are delivered.

Tools & Platforms

  • Become a subject matter expert on analytical platforms and tools, including IRI, Hero, Excel, PowerBI, RMIS, Numerator, and BIR, to effectively analyze data and support sales initiatives.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. / B.A. Degree in finance, business, engineering, or related field.

  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and organize data to support recommendations.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple work streams with many stakeholders.

  • Utilization of effective verbal and written communication skills to have influence across diverse subset of stake
