About the opportunity
As our Retail Postage Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.
Role Details
- This relief casual role commences on $34.45 / hour for approx. 3 months, increasing to $36.83 hour + 12% Superannuation. (Junior rates apply to those under 21 during training).
- Extensive, supportive (paid) training on commencement, Monday - Friday, for up to 8 weeks, approx. 3 hours / day on a rotating roster
- Becomes “on call” after training, shifts may be scheduled in advanced, or you may be called in at short notice, there is no guarantee of hours or minimum hours / week
- You will need to be fully available, Monday - Friday, between 6 am – 5.30 pm, (the majority of shifts will be early morning)
- As shifts will be rostered across the market, you will need to be willing and able to travel to Cleveland, Bulimba, Cannon Hill, Capalaba, Wynnum, Beenleigh, Carindale, Loganholme and Springwood, please consider this before applying
You’ll be
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.
- Assisting and/or perf
