General Manager (automotive)

Description

Edwards Auto Group in Omaha, NE/Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a General Manager to join our team! Edwards Auto Group is a family-owned business founded in 1985 and has grown to 14 vehicle brands, 10 dealership locations and over 700 employees. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all departments of the dealership and ensuring profitability in all departments.

Responsibilities of the General Manager

• Develop and successfully execute plan to achieve monthly and annual goals for all departments
• Maintain excellent CSI throughout the dealership
• Assist in hiring for all departments
• Mentor and monitor the performance of all department supervisors
• Assist sales teams in closing deals
• Review store metrics daily for each department and make adjustments to increase production
• Attend regular meetings with dealership and auto group leadership
• Provide training and support to all staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of automotive management experience
• Goal oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be organized and detailed
• Time efficiency is a must
• Reliable work history
