Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Subject Matter Expert to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will become part of Peraton’s Cyber Missions providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes. Peraton’s cyber missions encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise government customers. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting Peraton’s cyber objectives strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages projects across all phases of the project life-cycle
- Develops scope, schedule, budget, change requests, and other project artifacts to successfully manage projects, initiatives, and tasks
- Coordinates and collaborates with customer teams and stakeholders as needed to successfully manage projects, initiatives, and tasks
- Participates in research and implementations of new security tools and techniques
- Creates briefings and PSRs as needed and presents and briefs to stakeholders

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required with 14 years’ experience; 12 years’ experience with a Masters. 4 additional years' of experience can be substituted for degree.
- Requires US Citizenship with the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before start date and be able to obtain a Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI.
- Possess or be able to obtain one of the following certifications before start date: CASP+CE, CISSP (or Associate), or CSSLP.
- Clear track record of having led and directed project team(s -- engaged in technical and/or security)
- Has clear proven capability designing, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations
- Has proven proficiency in preparing project execution plan and identifying appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team
- Is skilled at achieving timely/on-schedule completion of projects, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment
- Maintains tech/cyber awareness by staying current on advances in the field of IT
- Clearly able to provide excellent technical and analytical guidance to project team

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
