Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI. The position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule which allows for work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
As a Financial Analyst, you will:
Support financial planning, reporting, accounting, and business analysis processes necessary to support Company objectives. Ensures all financial reports and analysis comply with appropriate accounting principles and company policies, accurately reflect condition of business, and provide reliable information necessary to control operations. Supports monthly financial reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual audit and budgeting processes. In particular, this position works with both Finance and other functional groups to assist with financial planning (budgeting, forecasting) and reporting, particularly SG&A.
Do you have these required qualifications?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Three or more years related experience, with progressively expanding duties in variety of accounting areas.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
- Experience supporting functional areas/business partners within a company.
- Experience developing financial planning and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills to gather, analyze and report data.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and collaborative skills.
- Strong accounting, analysis, problem solving, and data gathering skills.
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently.
- PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
