About the role

The Department of Radiology of Wake Forest School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty position in the section of Abdominal Radiology. Candidates should be fellowship-trained in abdominal radiology and competent and comfortable interpreting all abdominal imaging exams (plain film, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI). Neuro CT and Neuro. MRI, nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures are not required skills. This position includes teaching residents and fellows and a research component. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

To be considered qualified for the Abdominal Radiologist position available with the Wake Forest School of Medicine, a candidate should be fellowship trained in abdominal imaging; currently hold a medical license; have Board certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent or be Board Eligible; be licensed by or eligible for licensure by the North Carolina Medical Board; be capable of performing teaching and administrative responsibilities; have a strong interest in academic radiology; have the desire to be a part of a collaborative team; be able to take equitable call including nights and weekends; and be able to perform teaching and administrative responsibilities.
