The Role
The Project Executive is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and overall financial performance of a regional program with a portfolio goal of at least $25 million per year.
Qualifications:
-
15+ years’ experience in diversified project management experience
-
10+ years’ experience managing multiple construction projects valued at least $15 million of varying contract types and delivery methods
-
Experience in managing many employees in multiple locations
-
Knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical fields
-
Demonstrated success in operating within prescribed process and procedural systems
-
Experience in identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements
-
Excellent leadership skills; ability to motivate and guide others to succeed

Ability to clearly communicate strategic corporate directives and to ensure they are executed correctly at all regional locations

Must demonstrate a strong ability to:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field highly desired
Responsibilities:

Strategic Management: Aligns operating unit’s strategy with company’s strategic plan; Monitors project operations including the profitability, quality and progress of work; Visits sites to discuss, with Centennial employees and owner representatives, issues such as project profitability and status, work requirements, staffing needs, customer satisfaction, and employee morale; Leverages optimal utilization of information technology to achieve goals

Financial Management: Ensures that financial goals and requirements for the area of responsibility are achieved; Manages overall budget and oversees project budgets, cost reports, cash flow, profitability, other metrics to ensure maximum profitability

Personnel Management: Demonstrates ability to lead and motivate a team; Empowers and develop senior managers to exceed company goals; Fosters the companies Employer of Choice culture; Enables career development of personnel through on the job, internal and external training and development opportunities, company performance and development program, mentorship program, and other initiatives; Partners with Human Resources to identify, attract, and retain new and current top talent
