Description
The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible adult cardiothoracic surgeon to join our expanding team. Candidates should have skills and experience in surgery for both malignant and benign thoracic processes, including mediastinal and chest wall. Robotic experience is beneficial.

With 624 beds, Stony Brook University Hospital serves as Suffolk County's only tertiary care center and Regional Trauma Center. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- M.D. or D.O. degree (or foreign equivalent).
- Eligibility for New York State License and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Eligibility for the academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Record of success in basic or clinical research.
- Interest and experience supervising undergraduate/graduate medical students, residents and fellows.
