Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Full Time

Boone Memorial Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic anesthesia team. In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care across a broad range of specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and plan anesthesia care accordingly.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia, as well as sedation techniques.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia administration, including managing airway and ventilation.
• Provide perioperative pain management, both acute and chronic.
• Oversee invasive and non-invasive monitoring, including blood pressure, oxygen levels, and heart rate.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal anesthesia management for each patient.
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and assist with discharge protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate anesthesia plans to the rest of the healthcare team.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols in a clinical setting.
• Stay current on anesthesia practices and participate in continuing education as required.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of West Virginia.
• Certified as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the State of West Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• A minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience required.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) – Nurse Anesthesia or equivalent doctoral degree.
• 5+ years of experience as a CRNA.
